When I grow up…

Some people wanted to be a doctor. Some wanted to be a school teacher. Others Firefighters…I’ve always wanted to be an actor. The cast of Pedro just got a moving letter from Judd and it made me think about all those classes I took in college on acting. Or all the movies that I’ve ever walked out of thinking, ” that’s the reason I want to be an actor.”  To touch someone, to tell a story that needs to be told or to make someone think, laugh, cry…etc. Guess you can tell i’m very proud to have been a part of this story. Check out the email below. I hope it’s not breaking confidentiality too much. There’s been a few omissions for personal info reasons.

Judd:

dear gang,
pam and i wanted to express what a supreme pleasure it was to meet
you all, and thank you for giving us the walk on:)
we, as you most likely have guessed from choices we have made, are
utter attention whores and welcome most opportunities feed those
whorish tendencies.
But seriously, we were honored to be a part of it, but more
importantly –we’re thrilled that you’re telling Pedro’s story. It’s
difficult to express how much this means to us.  It’s been 14 years
since we lost him, but the loss is still felt and carried. he lives
through us in memory and through the story of his life, his battles,
his loves and his still unimaginable death.
there was really no way pam and I could take a moment to explain it
all to you. But what you’re doing means the world to us. It brings
him back for us.
Alex, to be completely honest, I had the hardest time speaking to
you. You carry his presence, and it’s been a long time since we had a
chance to just simply stand and talk with our friend. Or have him
meet our son.

thank you all.
